Introduce your young ones to magic of the moving image through this hands-on activity exploring a historic pre-cinema technology. With roots in ancient China and a reinvention as a Victorian era parlor entainment, the zoetrope is a fun, simple technology which helped spread the popularity of the moving image throughout the world. This hands-on activity time is designed for parents and children to drop in, stay and play as long as you like, and perhaps take home a zoetrope of your very own.
